- Idaho (ID) — Idaho lottery and gambling statutes restrict online casino-style games of chance, even free-to-play.
- Michigan (MI) — Michigan Gaming Control Board directive against unlicensed online casino-style services.
- Nevada (NV) — Nevada regulatory framework restricts online casino-style games offered without a state license.
- Montana (MT) — Senate Bill 555 (effective October 1, 2025) restricts online casino-style platforms.
- New York (NY) — pending legislation creates uncertainty for online social-casino operators.
- New Jersey (NJ) — Assembly Bill 5447 restricts unlicensed online casino-style services.
- Connecticut (CT) — state law restricts unregulated online casino-style play.
- Louisiana (LA) — state Department of Justice opinion classifies online casino-style games as gambling.
Why these exclusions exist
US state law on online social-casino platforms varies considerably. Even though JackpotPartyZone is free to play and Gold Coins have no monetary value, some states take a broad view of what constitutes a "game of chance" and restrict access to such services. Out of an abundance of caution, JackpotPartyZone voluntarily excludes residents of the states above to remain in compliance with the most restrictive interpretations.
